This workshop will provide parents with a basic overview of the Verbal Behavior Approach for increasing language development in children with communication delays. Participants will be introduced to the functions of language and will work with the facilitators to generate a plan individualized to their child.

This workshop will address the basic principles of behavior and effective teaching strategies (discrete trial teaching, verbal behavior approach, etc.) for children with developmental delays.
